ABOUT THE AMP YOUTH ORCHESTRAS
The AMP Youth Orchestras are the most advanced instrumental ensembles at AMP and are designed for young musicians in middle and high school who are already experienced performers.
Performing both standard symphonic music and musical genres representing the culture of the communities we serve, it is our goal for the AMP Youth Orchestras to become one of the top youth training orchestra programs in the country.
The AMP Youth Orchestras consist of two ensembles: the Junior Youth Orchestra and the Senior Youth Orchestra.
Both ensembles include: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, french horn, tuba, orchestral percussion.
The Junior Youth Orchestra level is intermediate/advanced, performing from Level 2 – Level 4.
The Senior Youth Orchestra level is advanced, performing full symphonic works and music from Level 4 – Level 6.
AUDITION INFORMATION
Auditions will be held on December 5, 2022 and December 12, 2022 at the AMP Center. After completing the audition application, you will be emailed information on how to select an audition day and time. Please click here to review the audition requirements.

TUITION
All students receive a full scholarship covering tuition.
REGISTRATION FEE
AFTER acceptance into the program, each student will have to pay a $25 registration fee ($10 for each additional sibling) per semester. Before completing your registration, you will be asked to pay the registration fee. Payment plans are available. Please note: No student will be turned away due to financial hardship.
