Thank you for your interest in the 2025-2026 AMP Preparatory Band!

ABOUT THE AMP PREPARATORY BAND

The AMP Preparatory Concert Band consists of ensemble classes for the following concert band instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, and percussion. Serving students in grades 3 to 6. These group classes are designed for students interested in making friends while learning and performing music in a concert band setting. No experience is needed. All instruments and class materials are provided on loan by AMP.

REGISTRATION FEE

Each student will have to pay a $25 non-refundable registration fee ($10 for each additional sibling) per school year. Before completing your registration, you will be asked to pay the registration fee. Payment plans are available. Please note: No student will be turned away due to financial hardship.

TUITION

All students receive full scholarship covering tuition.

 

REHEARSAL & CONCERT SCHEDULE

Students in the AMP Preparatory Band will rehearse twice a week. Attendance for both days is mandatory to stay in the program.

 

Mondays: 5:00PM - 6:15PM

Wednesdays: 5:00PM - 6:15PM


During the AMP Preparatory Band season, there are two mandatory concerts that students are required to participate in. These concerts take place on November TBD, 2025 and May TBD, 2026.
