About the 2026 AMP World Music Festival

In celebration of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Atlanta Music Project World Music Festival is a
once-in-a-lifetime concert series honoring global music traditions. Each concert will be paired with a major
World Cup match taking place the following day and will feature music of the competing nations, including
Spain, Cape Verde, South Africa, Czechia, Haiti, Morocco, and the USA. Programming will include
commissioned works, guest artists, and distinctive collaborations - creating a vibrant, immersive
experience that welcomes audiences into a shared cultural moment.

Participation in the AMP World Music Festival is designed to complement the work you do in your current
musical ensembles, and we hope this experience will further strengthen your artistry in those settings.
Alongside the Festival Orchestra & Choir, additional solo and chamber performance opportunities may be
available to selected participants.

AUDITION INFORMATION

REHEARSAL & CONCERT SCHEDULE

Rehearsals will be scheduled between June 8 and 23, primarily in the afternoons and evenings.
Participation in all performances and rehearsals is expected for those who are selected.

During the 2026 AMP World Music Festival, orchestra students will participate in concerts on the following dates:

June 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM: Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church

June 23, 2026 at 7:00 PM: Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church

TUITION

All students receive a full scholarship covering tuition.

REGISTRATION FEE

AFTER acceptance into the program, each student will have to pay a $25 non-refundable registration fee ($10 for each additional sibling). Before completing your registration, you will be asked to pay the registration fee. Payment plans are available. Please note: No student will be turned away due to financial hardship.
